ADMISSION GUIDELINES

  1. Eligibility for Admission
    Applications for admission to Class Nursery are accepted from students of all faiths who demonstrate the Carmel principles of respect and acceptance of all. Christian children will be nurtured in accordance with Gospel values.
    Admissions to other classes will be considered only against chance vacancies at the beginning of the academic year, at the discretion of the Principal.
  2. Admission Form & Documents
    Parents/Guardians must fill in the admission form with utmost accuracy. No changes will be permitted later.• A self-attested copy of the Birth Certificate (issued by civil authorities) must be submitted.
    • The name in the Birth Certificate must exactly match the name provided in the admission form.
    • No changes in particulars will be allowed after submission, except by Court Order.

    In cases where parents are separated, remarried, or involved in custody disputes, the school must be informed with a copy of the relevant Court Order. The school will not entertain any request from one parent without the knowledge and consent of the other.

  3. Transfer Certificate Requirement
    A student who has previously attended a recognized school must submit a Transfer Certificate from the last attended school.
    Catholic students must also provide a Baptism Certificate along with a letter from their parish.
  4. Interaction & Assessment
    New candidates must be personally introduced to the Principal by the person responsible for their conduct and fees.
    Students may be assessed based on the syllabus of the class immediately below the one they are seeking admission to.
  5. Authority of the Principal
    The Principal is the final authority in granting admissions. Her decision shall be final and binding on all.
